Hello & Welcome !

Hi all! 

Welcome to my 'Genius Hour' blog ! 

Throughout the next 6 weeks, I'm taking you viewers on a lovely adventure. It'll be filled with updates, videos, progress reports, reflections, etc. 

I'm going to attempt to create a very user -friendly and interactive blog ! Please bear with me, I haven't created a blog since Grade 10 (which was in 2014!). And so, this is going to be an adventure for us both. 

This blog was created in response to an assignment/project I had to create through my Bachelor of Education program at Brock University. The course is called "Teaching Digital Learners in a Digital Age". It's such an interesting 6 week course! It provides all sorts of resources to use for online learning. 

The 'Table of Contents' is located on the left-hand side of the blog. Underneath the 'About Me' section, there will be tabs for each step that is I'm required to complete for the project.

 

A summary of the tabs for clarification: 

The Topic - An introduction of the topic chosen. 

The Project Proposal - A Google Slides Presentation on Project 

iMovie Trailer - A movie trailer of the ideal product 

The Product - The final product 

TED Talk Presentation - Reflection video about the learning process, what was learned and what I learned about myself 

Project Reflection - Final thoughts about project 

In addition, I'm also going to continously post blogs about my learning process, the development of the product and the task itself. 

I know! It's a lot of reading! But I'm almost done, haha :) 

As briefly mentioned above, I haven't created a blog since 2014 (!!!), and so it is a new learning platform for me and I have not mastered developing blog posts and/or the website. It's going to be filled with mistakes, misspelling, etc. My only hope is to gain knowledge about the platform throughout the 6 week course.
